It is situated on 20 acres of private land, 10 minutes’ walk from the sandy Tralee Bay beach. Rooms are traditionally furnished, and some look out over the B&B’s grounds or distant mountains. Features include a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and a bathroom with free toiletries. On the west coast of Scotland, Hawthorn is a good base for guests wishing to explore the picturesque Highlands. Boats to the nearby islands can be taken from central Oban, and the village of Benderloch is less than 2 km away.
