If you’re after a Blackpool hotel right in the heart of things, look no further than the Lyndene. It’s in a super-central postcode, in the middle of Blackpool’s seafront. Head 15 minutes in one direction to Sea Life, Madame Tussauds and the Blackpool Tower, or 15 minutes in the other to reach South Pier and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
It’s the entertainment that really sells this place, though. The Lyndene’s got a great relationship with some of Blackpool’s finest singers, bands, comedy acts and tribute stars. You can expect a lively line-up every single night of the week, with up to four acts a night. There’s bingo every afternoon, as well as regular themed weekends. Past themes include Halloween Spooktacular, Rock n’ Roll and St Patrick’s Day.
Two restaurants keep you topped up on traditional grub for dinner. Plus, you can order British classics, like sarnies, jacket potatoes and fish and chips from the snack bars. And for breakfast, it’s full English territory – you can help yourself from the buffet. Free parking and WiFi are some of the other nice-to-have perks.
